Platform overview

TOKEN2049 Singapore is an in-person, multi-asset crypto and Web3 conference at Marina Bay Sands on 7-8 October 2026. Its main conference, wider side-event week, closing party and selective startup or hackathon tracks are related but carry different admission rules.

A two-day main event inside a larger event week

Daily registration opens at 07:30 and the main conference is scheduled through 18:00. The agenda can change as speakers and topics are substituted, altered or cancelled, so the current programme rather than an earlier announcement controls the session plan.

TOKEN2049 Week runs from 5-11 October as independently hosted side events, while AFTER 2049 is a separately waitlisted closing party on 9 October. Neither is automatically the same access state as the two-day conference pass.

Buy a personal ticket, then register on site

Official card or crypto checkout delivers a completed purchase by email; some pass types require additional attendee or tax information before issue. An electronic or printed reference is used at on-site registration, making the ticket a personal entry credential rather than a transferable general invitation.

Published passes range from $399 to $4,999 before applicable local taxes, depending on pass type and sales phase. They are described as non-refundable personal revocable licences, and visa denial does not create a refund, so travel clearance and final pass terms need attention before purchase.

The app coordinates registered attendees, not remote attendance

Registered attendees can use the event app for matchmaking, one-to-one or group meeting scheduling, contact scanning, a calendar-synced agenda and a floor plan. These are on-site coordination tools; they do not create a virtual ticket or hybrid access route.

NEXUS and Origins are separate participation tracks. NEXUS selects 10 qualifying startups incorporated from 2023 onward with less than $5 million raised, while Origins is a 36-hour hackathon with its own participant allocation. An ordinary ticket does not itself confer either status.

Broad conference access beside Bitcoin Asia's tiered Bitcoin focus

Bitcoin Asia is the close alternative for an in-person programme limited to Bitcoin and passes that differentiate seating and attendee networking. TOKEN2049 instead spans multi-asset crypto and Web3, adds a broader independently hosted side-event calendar, and separates its startup and hackathon tracks from standard admission.

Both require an in-person arrival and have mutable schedules and commercial terms. TOKEN2049's key boundary is between the main pass, side events, closing-party waitlist and selective tracks; Bitcoin Asia's is between core access and the privileges reserved for higher pass tiers.
