Bitcoin Asia 2026

Bitcoin Asia 2026 is an in-person Bitcoin-only conference at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 27-28 August 2026. Entry follows an e-pass, on-site scan and wristband flow, while seating, networking and some travel support vary by pass tier.

An e-pass becomes the wristband used across both days

E-passes are expected about two weeks before the conference. Registration scans the pass and issues the wristband required for entry and conference activities; early check-in is a separate option for collecting it before day one.

Doors are typically described as opening at 09:00, with the event typically running 09:00-17:00, but final operating hours are published closer to the event. Card checkout in USD and on-chain Bitcoin are the stated purchase routes, and sales are final and non-refundable even if a visa is denied.

Every pass reaches core areas; higher tiers change the experience

General Admission, GA+ and Whale each include two-day access to the Expo Hall, Nakamoto Stage, Genesis Stage and Open Source track. General Admission seating is first-come, first-served, whereas GA+ and Whale have reserved seating.

All attendees can use the BTC+ app for agenda planning, speaker and sponsor browsing, announcements and venue navigation. Only GA+ and Whale add attendee discovery and meeting scheduling; GA+ also names dedicated networking spaces, curated meetups and a Deal Flow Zone, while Whale adds its own VIP lounge, party and content layer.

Online distribution is partial content access, not attendance

The programme is explicitly Bitcoin-only. Most sessions are expected in English, with selected keynotes and panels in Mandarin, and the current agenda remains the source for session language and programme changes.

Only the Nakamoto Stage is planned for livestreaming; other stages are not live streamed. Most sessions are expected to have recordings except Deep VIP sessions and Open Source Workshops, so viewing some content later is not a virtual ticket or a way to use on-site networking features remotely.
