SpookySwap is a permissionless AMM DEX associated with Sonic and rooted in Fantom. Users can create pools, swap tokens, and provide V3-style concentrated liquidity.
A provider selects the range in which capital is active. That can concentrate fee opportunity near the current price, but a position earns nothing outside its range and can become mostly one token after price crosses it. SpookySwap emphasizes immutable V3 contracts, which makes core behavior predictable but means those contracts cannot be altered to add features or correct them.
BOO, farms, and local Sonic choices
BOO supports the SpookySwap governance and farming ecosystem, while xBOO is a staking representation. Perpetuals, farms, launchpad, and bridge options are adjacent products; the pool-based spot DEX remains the defining exchange.
Equalizer is the closer Sonic comparator for a vote-escrow incentive AMM, while Uniswap V3 is the direct technical comparator for concentrated liquidity.
