Platform overview

Galxe is a Web3 campaign platform where projects connect quests to credentials and defined rewards. A Galxe Account can link wallet addresses and social identities, letting a campaign combine offchain participation with onchain checks instead of treating every visible task as open to every user.

Credentials decide who can enter a campaign

A project creates a Galxe Space and can test wallet activity, NFT ownership, Snapshot votes, balances, smart-contract queries, social accounts, loyalty points, prior quest history, or an imported allowlist. Those credentials act as reusable entry conditions, so completing a social task alone may not qualify someone for a reward when the campaign also requires a particular holding, identity, or participation history.

Projects can import CSV, Google Sheets, API, GraphQL, or REST data into a credential. That supports campaigns for a defined external group rather than only users whose eligibility can be read directly from a wallet. A Space User credential can also require a follow, a minimum loyalty-point balance, or prior quest participation.

Quest Collections can turn claims into progression

Quest Collections group related activities, while Sequence Mode unlocks the next quest after a user claims the previous reward. The trigger is the reward claim, not completion of every task group, so builders that need several prerequisites completed before progression must place them in the same task group.

Survey tasks can collect an identifier, response, or screenshot, but they accept submissions automatically. A project that needs a human decision can review submissions, turn approved entries into an imported-data credential, and use that credential in a later task. This gives a campaign a way to turn review into a controlled eligibility step.

Rewards range from points to claimable onchain records

Galxe quests can distribute points, OATs, NFTs, tokens, custom rewards, mystery boxes, and Discord roles. An OAT is an onchain achievement token, while a custom reward is sent by the project outside Galxe. Points can sit alongside those rewards, and separate sequential quests can attach more than one reward type to equivalent task sets.

Reward mechanics affect what a successful quest requires next. EVM reward claims need a bound EVM address; OAT minting can carry a claim fee unless the campaign is gasless or Smart Savings covers it. Raffle token rewards are recorded on Gravity and require a G-token gas transaction, whereas first-come, first-served token distribution remains offchain.

A different emphasis from Zealy’s XP competitions

Zealy is the close alternative for communities built around XP, levels, leaderboards, and time-limited sprints. Galxe instead makes credentials, identity linking, and eligibility-gated claims central to campaign design. Its strength is controlled audience selection and achievement-style rewards; the trade-off is that a claim can require a particular linked identity, bound EVM address, or network transaction depending on the campaign.
