Platform overview

Bebop is a non-custodial DeFi liquidity network with two deliberately different swap sources: firm RFQ quotes from professional market makers and solver aggregation across decentralized liquidity. That split makes it notable when a supported pair calls for firm price and fill certainty, or when a less standard pair needs broader liquidity coverage.

Firm RFQ quotes from on-chain market-maker inventory

Bebop's RFQ path is not an AMM route. Professional market makers quote from their own on-chain inventory and can provide a firm price and guaranteed fill for pairs and sizes they support. Larger RFQ orders can be split across several market makers for pricing while still returning one firm transaction for the user to sign.

This is useful when price and fill certainty matter more than searching every public pool. Its limitation is inherent to the model: a market maker can quote only assets and sizes it is prepared to trade.

Solver aggregation for long-tail token coverage

The aggregation path is the complementary route. Solvers compete to construct a swap through decentralized liquidity sources, extending coverage to unusual or long-tail pairs that may lack an RFQ quote. The route uses a slippage limit: the displayed amount becomes a minimum output, and the transaction reverts if the solver cannot meet it at settlement.

The result is broader possible coverage but not the same firm commitment as RFQ. Choosing between Bebop's two paths is therefore a concrete choice between guaranteed execution for a supported pair and slippage-bounded routing for a wider set of liquidity sources.

Atomic multi-token RFQ trading on EVM

On EVM, RFQ can settle one-to-one, many-to-one and one-to-many trades atomically in a single transaction. A portfolio can therefore be consolidated into one asset or one asset distributed among several outputs without a sequence of intermediate swaps. Eligible EVM RFQ quotes can also be partially filled.

Solana RFQ is limited to one-to-one trades, so the portfolio formats are not universal across Bebop's supported chains. Bebop never takes a deposited trading balance: the user's wallet signs and broadcasts the settlement transaction, though an EVM sell token may need approval for the quote's specified contract.

A firm-price alternative to 1inch routing

1inch is the close alternative for broad DEX routing and intent execution. Its Classic mode routes across DEX liquidity and Fusion uses a resolver auction, whereas Bebop separates private market-maker RFQ quotes from solver-based aggregation. Bebop is the more targeted option for a supported pair requiring a guaranteed price and fill.

1inch offers the broader consumer-facing set of Classic, gasless EVM Fusion, limit-order and Fusion+ cross-chain modes. Bebop's focus is instead on choosing the appropriate liquidity source and settlement type for the trade, not on providing an AMM pool position or a retail limit-order interface.
